The company is a private industrial enterprise, which is primarily engaged in the manufacture of hydraulic components, mainly for the agricultural industry. It is a family owned established in 1951 and has a registered head office and manufacturing facilities located in Tona, Spain. The company mainly manufactures cast-iron and aluminum hydraulic gear pumps, control valves, selector valves and cylinders for construction machinery (dumpers, excavators, loaders) and truck applications (hook-loaders, skip loaders, refuse vehicles). All its products are marketed under the name Hydro-Domestics or Hy-Dom and SG iron castings (made in the company's foundry - Fundiciones de Roda). In terms of the world's fluid power manufacturers, the company is not large - just more than 400 people. However, its facilities in-house (foundry, modern CAD/CAM, CNC machines, clean assembly areas, computerized testing etc.) combined with an enthusiastic workforce, a wide range of technical expertise, ISO 9001 Quality Systems and a refreshingly flexible approach to customers means that the company can very often offer an attractive solution to OEM application requirements.
